What is Prophet 9?
Prophet 9 is a daily Major League Baseball projection and signal product. Every night we refresh, then publish a read on which players are trending up or down — and a permanent, public record of every call we’ve made, so you can judge us on results rather than promises.
How does it work?
In plain terms: we compare each player’s underlying performance signals against his surface results and flag the divergences. When the underlying quality of what a player is doing pulls away from what the box score has caught up to, that gap is information — and that’s what we surface. We publish the concept area driving each flag and a calibrated interval around it. We don’t publish which specific inputs we read, over what windows, or where the lines are drawn — that’s the edge, and publishing it would erase it for everyone who pays for it.
Is this betting or gambling advice?
No. Prophet 9 is informational only. The projections are probabilistic forecasts — calibrated estimates of what’s likely, not guarantees and not recommendations to place any wager. Any decision you make is your own.
How do I know the projections are any good?
Look at the record. We keep a public track record of every call and report calibration honestly — including the misses. The method was validated on a held-out set of players before the product launched. Trust the audit, not the adjectives.
What does it cost?
There’s a single subscription tier: $14 per month or $70 per season — the season is one month free versus paying monthly. There’s no maze of plans to compare. The free edition — the public board teaser and the full track record — stays available without a card.
Is there a free trial?
The free edition is the trial. It’s genuinely useful on its own, and it never expires — so you can get a feel for Prophet 9 before you decide to unlock the full instrument. We don’t run a separate timed trial.
How do I cancel?
From your account page, open the billing portal and cancel in a click. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access through the time you’ve already paid for, then your account reverts to the free edition. No retention hoops.
Do you give refunds?
Because you keep full access through the period you’ve paid for, we don’t issue mid-period or pro-rated refunds. The full policy is on the Refund Policy page. If you were charged in error, contact us and we’ll fix it.
I didn’t get my verification email.
We send the sign-in verification code from no-reply@prophet9.com. Check your spam folder and give it a minute. You can request a fresh code from the sign-in screen. If it still doesn’t arrive, reach us through the contact form.
How do I reset my password?
Use the “forgot password” link on the sign-in screen. We’ll email you a reset code at your account address so you can set a new password.
How do I update my billing or payment method?
Everything billing lives in the billing portal, reachable from your account page: update your card, switch between monthly and season, view invoices, or cancel.
Can I share my account?
No — one account is for one person. Accounts may not be shared or pooled. The full terms are on the Terms of Service page.
