Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Prophet 9 (the “Service”), operated from Washington, D.C. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. We’ve kept them short and readable on purpose.

The agreement
1

The Service

Prophet 9 is a daily Major League Baseball projection and signal product. We publish probabilistic forecasts and a permanent, public record of every call. The free edition is genuinely useful; the subscription unlocks the full instrument.

2

Accounts

You sign in with an email address and a password, verified by a one-time code we send to that address. You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done under your account. One account is for one person — accounts may not be shared, resold, or operated on behalf of multiple users.

3

Subscription and billing

The subscription is a single tier, priced at $14 per month or $70 per season. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or season — at the then-current price, until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, reachable from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: your paid access continues through the period you’ve already paid for, and your account then reverts to the free edition. We do not bill you again after you cancel.

4

Refunds

Because cancellation runs to the end of the period you’ve already paid for, we do not issue mid-period or pro-rated refunds. When you cancel, you keep full access until the period ends. Full detail is on our Refund Policy page.

5

Acceptable use

The projections, signals, intervals, and the historical record behind the paywall are the paid product. You may use them for your own personal decision-making. You may not:

  • scrape, crawl, bulk-export, or systematically extract the data or projections;
  • redistribute, republish, resell, or sublicense the paid data or projections, in whole or in part;
  • share, lease, or pool account access among multiple people;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer the models, or probe the Service to derive its inputs, windows, or thresholds;
  • interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
6

Nature of the product — not a guarantee, not betting advice

Prophet 9 publishes probabilistic forecasts. A projection is a calibrated estimate of what is likely, not a promise of what will happen. Baseball is uncertain by nature, and any individual call can be wrong.

The Service is informational only. It is not betting, gambling, wagering, or financial advice, and nothing in it should be read as a recommendation to place a wager or make any transaction. Any decision you make is your own, made at your own risk.

7

Availability

We work to keep the Service running and refreshed nightly, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features over time. The public track record is kept honest regardless.

8

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prophet 9 is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any losses arising from decisions made in reliance on the Service. To the extent any liability is found, it will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we’ll note it on this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located in the District of Columbia.
